Sustainable Futures

This week in Module C we watched the video Sorry (see below). This helped us to connect to the wider issue of sustainability and how what we do will affect our future generations.

  1. To be truthful, I didn't have much of a reaction aside from "I swear I've watched him before". I guess it's because I've already realized there was a possibility of an apocalyptic future for us if the world goes on like this.

Well, that's all I need to say... For now.
    Bye bye.

  3. When I watched this I remembered this info about cars... Apparently we have been developing electric cars for ages but pushy pushy petrol companies wanted to keep making hundreds of dollars (have you seen how much petrol costs?!) so Oh no! Petrol still dominates the 'car power source market' when we could all be driving cool environmental sleek electric cars... Boo to you, petrol companies! And sadly we are still pumping petrol fumes into the atmosphere... Still bringing on the apocalypse...

  4. When I watched this I remembered something that was once on TV that was about oil leaking out of boats and animals, like penguins, swallow the oil and then eventually die and if you were a penguin or a other animal you would not like this at all because they get oil in their wings and then their wings are no longer water proof so they can no longer swim. If you were a flying animal you would really not want this to happen to you because you would not be able to fly.

  8. Well I felt the same as the guy singing the song because I feel sorry for the wild life that lose their homes from the tree chopping down companies. The companies help people to cut down their trees which might have wild life in them. It's like how my dad had to chop down trees because 1 of them hit the guttering outside my house and took down a birds nest with it.

  9. I really feel like we need to do something other wise that could happen and if it does well it is not natures fault it is our fault if this happens and if the bees die during what we will be stuck eating wheat rice and other wind pollinated crops this might happen in 50 years
