Week 6 Discussion: Exotic Places

There are so many amazing places in the world. This week your task is to choose an amazing place that you'd love to travel to and tell us a little bit about it in your own words. Here's the catch though - it has to be somewhere unusual, unique or not well known (no Australia or America here!).

Here's mine as an example:

I'd love to travel to the Tianzi Mountains in Zhangjiajie in the Hunan Province in China. These mountains are extremely unique because the are shaped like tall spires of rock - not at all like traditional mountains. They actually look a lot like something out of Avatar. The mountains' name, Tianzi, means son of heaven and is named in honour of a Chinese ruler who lived over 800 years ago.

  1. I would love to go to Japan because when I take a glimpse out of my window I would see exciting bright lights. The reason why I would like to go to Japan is because of the food, bright lights, GAMES, technology, Cool Japanese characters and more. Japan is a lovely place to chill and to relax. What I find very unique is there bed pods where people sleep in, also what I also adore is there incredible food and drawing because they are just awesome and Amazing. (:

  2. I would love to go to Elephant Trunk Hill (Xiangbishan) in Guilin ,China . The hill is shaped like a elephant drinking water and it is not man made which makes this scene very unique . The hill lies on the Li river . In between its trunk and front legs there is a cave called Shui Yue Cave but in English it means Water Moon Cave . It is very old and is very peaceful. It would be a nice place to go because of the beautiful scenery that you get when you go on the little boat ride.

  3. I'd like to visit the island of Antigua. It is a Caribbean island so it's pretty warm, and has exactly 365 beaches, one for every day of the year! Some of their beaches are the rare pink sand beaches, and are superb snorkelling spots. These islands popular tourist destinations, so there is a large airport and many great hotels.
